Our fall mixed media course will be taught by special guest Nicholas Ridiculous. Nicholas is a multi-disciplinary artist, designer, youth advocate, author, musician and arts facilitator. His work often pushes back against convention, with the aim of inspiring something greater. His work with youth hopes to introduce the next generation of artists to their own creativity.
Please note that this course will be taught in English only!
Explorations in Mixed Media - Ages 8-12
With this 6-week workshop series, we hope to offer a place for creative exploration! By offering diverse forms of creation, we aim to set the stage to allow the participants to find the form of art and expression that they feel most comfortable with. From creative brainstorming to hands-on learning through the exploration of different creative practices (ie. drawing, painting, sculpting, sewing, upcycling), participants will be guided through the journey of how to think and create like a professional artist.
